This is fun, and we're so grateful we get to do this! Having that mentality meant we could really enjoy the process, be present, and not get too overwhelmed by the long to-do list haha

The most unexpected part of the day was…

It was a 40-degree day (lol), and it rained for 30 minutes during cocktail hour, but it didn't upset us at all. When you're having so much fun and filled with so much love, literally nothing can get you down. You embrace every moment, and it really showed us how much we control our view of life and the things that happen. You can see it as a negative, or you can see it as just the weather, out of your control and something to laugh about.

When I look back on the day now I feel…

Overwhelmed with joy. It was the best day ever, and I wish I could do it all again!

A word of advice to new brides would be...

Delegate! Everyone wants to help and feels so special being involved. The more you offload, the more you can sit back and be fully present in the moment instead of running around. My mum and bridesmaids took care of everything and just let me float around, enjoying every moment.
